This workshop will explore identifying the ideal candidate, reviewing red flags and preparing for all stages of the interview process. How you craft your departmental culture will determine the ultimate success of your department. The workshop will provide participants with effective communication skills and will teach them how to recognize the roadblocks to communication. Supervisors and managers will learn the seven components to help effectively build credibility and define their own communication style as well as that of their staff members. Managing Employee Performance & Goal Setting

Managing employee performance starts with setting expectations. HR Professionals typically ranked employees in (3) three categories: Top Performers, Meets Expectations Performers and Poor Performers. This workshop will demonstrate how to coach Meets Expectations Performers up to Top Performers. It will set expectations through the mechanism of culture. Supervisors and managers will learn how to manage their employees during the employee life cycle. Common HR polices will be reviewed against the backdrop of employee performance.
